PLAYLIST THURSDAY: Sidney York

The first of the five volumes that make up Sidney York’s sophomore release, <3s, is set for release next Tuesday. We had the chance to chat with Krista Wodelet before she and Brandi Sidoryk kicked off their album release tour at the Biltmore this past Tuesday evening – the full interview will be up next week.

Amy Usher: Probably the most memorable moment is how we met to come and make the record – Hamish had been working on some songs on his own in the studio, and had been looking for a singer to collaborate with. These songs had been evolving over…

Hamish Thomson: Some had been evolving over ten years, actually, a couple of them. Some had been more like, six months – it was a big range.

Yoko, and Aan (details here) and of course… they’ll be playing at the Peak Performance Top 3 Finale at the Commodore Ballroom on Thursday November 21st.
