THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, Biltmore Cabaret – February 25, 2013

The Neighbourhood has it – the strive, the sound, and the chemistry. This was evident during the show last night at the Biltmore Cabaret, as music fans packed into the venue to listen to the five-piece ‘dark pop’ band from Newbury, California. With the following that they’ve built up over the past year, this band is one to watch, and to listen to.

Their set consisted of all of the tracks from their released EP’s, I’m Sorry… and Thank You… as well as tracks from their upcoming debut album, I Love You, slated for release on April 23rd. Their chilled-out mash-up of Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” and Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River” (stemming from their performance on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge in the UK) was a sing-along highlight.

  3. Saw these guys live in NY last month. They’ve got amazing talent and stage presence! Thoroughly enjoyed the show. I love their newest single, Afraid. The music video is pretty heavy, yet really cool. http://smarturl.it/NBHDAfraidEdit
